Talking to my daughter about the psychology of success led to a discussion on the book ‘Thinking – Fast and Slow’ by Daniel Kahneman. I googled the book and have bought it as my ‘diving in and out’ read. We all have them – books you can pick up and in ten minutes read something that makes you go ‘ah’, and gives you food for thought.

Day 1 – We all do this – it kills discussion and cuts conversations short – Google.

Today, for me, it was ‘The 1913 Cat & Mouse Act’. Why? Because I was at St Fagans near Cardiff and found a suffragette postcard. In researching my novella, Death of Connor, I had read about the Act – suffragettes on hunger strike would be released, and then re-arrested when they were well again.

It has happened, and even though, the morning after I wanted to break into the houses of All Kindle owners and steal them, Book One of Fire & Ice: Awakening is OUT NOW ON KINDLE.

Who would believe that a conversation with my daughter in the kitchen could spawn a series of books.

Well it has, and Book One in the Five Book series is out on Amazon Kindle NOW!

I wrote this series after reading ‘Twilight’ and wishing I knew more about Edward Cullen than Bella – after all, we all know what being human feels like…
